Frequent overloading of the welder may cause its wear or damage.
ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY AND RELATED PHENOMENA
The welder is a B class device (according to EN 60974-10), which means it complies with the electromagnetic compatibility
requirements for industrial and household environment, including dwellings where energy is provided through a public low-voltage
system. However during welding, the electric equipment which is close to the working area may interfere with the welder. Electric
arc generated during welding causes electromagnetic field which influences the electric systems and installations. Therefore the
operator of the welder must follow the safety regulations where such radiation may imply any danger to people or equipment (e.g.
close to hospitals, laboratories, medical equipment, radio and TV and computing equipment). It is not possible to determine and
quantity the kind and intensity of the influence of the electromagnetic field generated by the welder on another device. Therefore
it is difficult to formulate precise instructions how to limit the phenomenon. In places in which there is a potential risk, it is required
to take special measures and use, if possible, screens and protective filters. The welding cables should be as short as possible
and placed close to each other on the floor. The manufacturer shall not be held responsible for any damage caused by using the
welder in the aforementioned places or by incorrect operation of the device.
WARNING: The equipment does not comply with IEC 61000-3-12. If it is connected to the public low-voltage system then the fitter
or the user of the equipment is obliged to provide conditions, through consultations with the operator of the distribution network,
to connect the equipment.
MAINTENANCE AND SPARE PARTS
ATTENTION! Before any adjustments, technical service or maintenance remove the plug of the device from the mains socket.
Once the work has been concluded, it is required to check the technical conditions of the device through external inspection and
evaluation of the body, the electric cable and the plug, operation of the switch, the conditions of the ventilating slots, the noise
emitted during work, the start-up and uniformity of operation. During the warranty period the used must not dismantle the device or
replace any assemblies or elements, since otherwise the warranty shall be void. Any irregularities observed during inspection are
a signal for a repair to be realised at a service point. Once work has finished, the body, the ventilation slots, the switches, the ad-
ditional handle and the protections must be cleaned, e.g. with air jet (whose pressure must not exceed 0.3 MPa), a brush or a dry
cloth, without any chemical substances or cleaning liquids. The tools and handles must be cleaned with a dry and clean cloth.
It is required to control the wear of the mass clamps and the electrodes, as well as the connection plugs of the welding cables.
In case of excessive wear, for example if it is not possible to grab the electrode, it is required to contact the manufacturer. It is
prohibited to use other cables than the original spares.
