3. Pull the rubber earloop to its largest size as shown in
Figure 2, and slip it over the ear.

4. Push in the earloop to adjust to a comfortable position.
5. Turn the radio on and adjust the audio volume to a
comfortable listening level.
Note: When earpiece is connected to the radio side connector,
radio speaker is muted, and audio is only heard from the
earpiece speaker.
6. Press the PTT button to transmit and speak into the earpiece
microphone in a normal manner.
7. Release the PTT button to receive.
8. Turn the radio off before removing the earpiece from the radio
side connector as shown in Figure 3.
