6 INPUTS BOARD CONNECTING TRADITIONAL DETECTORS TO SIL-BUS CONTROL PANEL
Declaration of CE conformity: Nice s.p.a. declares under its sole responsibility that the products described in this manual comply with the requirements set out by
the Directives LVD 2014/35/EU - EMC 2014/30/EU. The adjourned declaration is available in our site
Electronic alarm systems: IMQ Security Systems Certification body - Standard EN 50130-5; EN 50131-1; EN 50131-5-6; EN 50131-2-2; EN 50069-1; EN 60529; Certified
Safety Level: 2; Environmental class II.
Warning: this device must be installed and commissioned by qualified technical staff according to current regulations.
Caution! This concentrator complies with EN 50131-3 Level 2 if it is used according to these instructions.
Operation: the device is a "concentrator " of alarms triggered by any kind of intrusion detector in some different connections (as showed in the diagram):
a) 1 to 6 detectors on a NC double balanced loop (alarm+tamper), by inserting 2 resistors (22k-47K) into each detector - EN 50131 . . compliant.
b) 1 to 3 blind detectors (roller) on pulse counting balanced loop (alarm+tamper), by inserting 1 resistors (47K) into each detector - EN 50131 . . compliant.
c) 1 to 6 detectors on a NC loop (6 alarm input + 1 tamper loop for all detectors) - EN 50131 . . not compliant.
d) 1 to 6 blind detectors (roller) on pulse counting NC loop (6 alarm input + 1 tamper loop for all detectors) - EN 50131 . . not compliant.
Pulse counting: 3 or 6 programmable pulses by shunt P
Detector blocking: positive TC output in disarm status
Self-adaptive input: each connected input will be automatically set after 5 seconds. The pulse counting of roller detector will be set after first counting up to 6 pulses.
Installation instructions: This device is an electronic board with 4 supports. It can be flush mounted in a 503 housing or surface mounted in a 503 standard wall
mount housing.
Tamper protection - Standard 50131-3 - Flush mount requirement: tamper protection against opening. The device is protected by a spring located on tamper contact
which remains pressed against flush mount housing's blind cover and is managed by the control panel. - Wall surface mount installation requirements: tamper
protection against opening and forced removal The device is protected by drilling a hole on the bottom of the housing (use the appropriate template - see Figure )
and by fastening the provided magnet on the wall at the same height of the hole. The board's reed contact will close once housing is installed and will open should
it be removed from the wall.
a)
Temporarily connect it to Touch-screen part no. 4020. Follow the audio and visual instructions on the display to address the device from the control panel, then
disconnect it from the Touch-screen You may clearly use all or only some of the available inputs and you can set them up immediately or later on.
b)
Fasten selected housing, extract bus wire and the wires of the detector you wish to connect, then place board inside the housing.
c)
Check that closed housing cover closes tamper contact by placing appropriate pressure on the spring. Support pins length must be adjusted to the employed
housing for wall mount installation. You may need to cut pins shorter to ensure that tamper reed contact closes.
d)
Ensure that bus line is not powered and connected it to the concentrator following the supplied drawings. The unit is supplied with input and output terminals
and to allow Bus cable to be cut and connected at both ends for installation ease.
e)
Connect the detectors cables according to the kind of detector being used, as it is showed in diagrams. The non isolated part of the conductors has to entirely
be inside the clamps to avoid short circuits. The inputs configuration automatically happens within 8 seconds.
f)
Power the device once all Bus line connections have been completed.
g)
Close housing cover. Tamper protection will automatically enable with contact closure.
Programming, commissioning and operating instructions: see manual of the employed Sil-Bus control panel.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS (see drawings).
LED indicators - BUS control LED diode:
Protection Class: IP protection is stated by manufacturer, it is not certified. Declared protection is achieved when the device is flush mounted in 503 housing or
surface mounted (88328 housing - 88329 cover).
flashing = successful bus polling
