The appliance is fitted with a timer. The appliance will switch off automatically when the
timer
makes a bell sound. You can manually change the timer by turning the button in
an anti-clockwise direction.

BeFore First use
1.
Remove all packaging materials, stickers and labels.
2.
Clean the basket (2) and the bowl (1) with hot water and a little detergent, using a
non-abrasive sponge. These parts are suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher.
3.
Clean the interior and exterior of the appliance with a cloth.
preparation for use
1.
Place the appliance on a horizontal, even, and stable surface. Do not place the
appliance on non-heat-resistant surfaces.
2.
Place the basket (2) in the bowl (1).
3.
Do not fill the bowl with oil or any other liquid. Do not put anything on top of the
appliance as it would interrupt the airflow.
Hot-air frying
1.
Connect the fryer to a grounded outlet.
2.
Carefully remove the bowl from the fryer.
3.
Place the food in the basket.
Note: Do not overload the basket with food (see the "Configuration" section in this
chapter), as it could affect the quality of the food.
4.
Put the bowl (1) back into the fryer. Never use the fryer without the basket (2) in place.
Precaution: Do not touch the basket (2) during or immediately after use, as it is very
hot. Take hold of the bowl (1) by the handle (4).
5.
Turn the control knob to the required temperature.
6.
Determine the cooking time required for the food (see the "Configuration" section in
this chapter).
7.
To switch on the appliance, turn the timer button to the required cooking time.
Add 3 minutes to the cooking time if the fryer is cold.
Note: if you wish, you can also pre-heat the appliance without any food inside. In this
case, turn the timer button until it indicates 3 minutes and wait until the heating light
goes off. Then fill the basket and turn the timer button to the required temperature.
• When the light comes on (7), the fryer starts to heat up.
• The timer (5) starts to count down the cooking time.
