Warnings!
° Keep children away from the Qrater.
° Never use the Qrater under a canopy
roof or a tree.
° Only use wood or charcoal.
° Do not throw anything into the fire.
° Make sure you always have a bucket
of sand, a smothering blanket or a fire
extinguisher within reach.
° Never leave the Qrater unattended
when it is in use.
° Do not put the dish on the ground
without using the pedestal.
° In case of intensive use on grass, the
grass can get discoloured or scorched.
° Always thoroughly clean the tripod
and Qrater after use.
° Materials put too close to the Qrater
can catch fire or get discoloured.
° After use the grill attachments
should be dismantled, cleaned and put
away in order to prevent rusting
° The Qrater parts become very hot
when in use and stay hot for quite a
long time afterwards. Do not touch!
° The skewer is quite sharp and not a
toy. Wrong use can lead to heavy injury
or death.
° Never use lightly inflammable
products in the vicinity of the burning
Qrater.
° The tripod will begin to rust after a
while. This is due to its function as
a basin for catching the Qrater rusty
rainwater, thus preventing it to drip on
the floor. You can slow this process
down by cleaning the tripod after
every use.
° Please check local regulations about
making fire in the open.

Materials
° The dish itself is made out of
wheathering steel, a special type of
weather-resistant metal with virtually
the same characteristics as regular
steel.
° Put outside, wheathering steel
however reacts to erosion by gradually
covering itself with a protective layer of
rust, also called "platinum layer". As a
result, further erosion due to rain or fire
is prevented and the Qrater can safely
be left outside.
° A small hole in the centre of the
dish also ensures that the water is
evacuated into the smaller dish in
the galvanised steel pedestal. This
pedestal also prevents the heat from
harming the surface under the Qrater,
as there is no direct contact between
the material and the surface. You
should however be careful with delicate
surfaces. The intense heat can cause
damage. If the Qrater is left outside
for a long time without being used,
rain combined with rust can also cause
stains.
