Or if it has locking lid assure it
is in locked position (6B) before
pouring.
Cleaning – Remove the lid

and unscrew the filter assembly.
Clean all parts after each use.
HOW TO MAKE COLD COFFEE:
Place pot on a dry, flat, non-

slip surface. Hold handle firmly.
If necessary turn the lid counter
clockwise to unlock (1A), then
pull the plunger unit straight up
and out of the pot (1B).
Note: Insure the filter unit is
properly assembled before use.
Add coarse ground coffee.

We recommend to double your
usual amount of coffee.
Add fresh cold water and stir

with a plastic spoon. CAUTION:
Metal spoons can scratch or chip
the beaker and cause breakage.
Put the lid on the coffee

press. Place it in your refrigera-
tor and let the coffee brew from
12 to 24 hours.
After the brew, take the coffee

replace the lid with the plunger
filter lid. Turn lid to close off the
pour spout opening (5A). Or if it
has locking lid turn it clockwise
to gently snap into the lock (5B).
Hold the pot handle firmly

of your hand, apply slight pres-
sure on top of the knob to lower
the plunger straight down into
the pot. Lowering the plunger
slowly with minimal pressure
produces best results. If the fil-
ter clogs or it becomes difficult
to push down the plunger you
