Replacing/
Adjusting the Saw Blade
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the
plug from the socket!
For mounting and replacing of the saw blade,
wear protective gloves.
Replacing the Saw Blade (see figure B)
– Hold the pressed spindle lock button 24 and ro-
tate the saw blade with the Allen key 18 until it
engages. Release the spindle lock button.
– Press the spindle lock button 24, retract the blade
guard to the stop and then release the blade
guard.
– Unscrew the fastening screw 5 in anticlockwise
direction and remove the saw blade 22 and the
clamping flange 23.
– Replace the saw blade. The direction-of-rotation
arrow on the saw blade must correspond with the
arrow on the blade guard 4.
– Use only sharp, undamaged saw blades. Do not
use saw blades with cracks or such that have
changed their shape. Do not use saw blades
made of high-alloy steel (HSS). Do not use saw
blades which do not correspond with the given
characteristic data. The saw blade must be suit-
able for the no-load speed. Use a saw blade
suitable for the material being sawn.
– For proper operation of the safety clutch, the con-
tact surface between the fastening screw 5 and
the saw blade must be free of sawdust and cov-
ered with a thin coat of grease. Use multi-purpose
grease (DIN 51825 - ME/HC 3/4K -30)!
– Tighten fastening screw 5. Retract the blade
guard to the stop to loosen the spindle lock and
then close the blade guard again.
Adjusting the Blade to the Perpendicular
Position (see figure C)
– Use a square to check that the blade is perpendic-
ular to the base plate.
When adjusting is required:
– Loosen both locking screws 2.
– Loosen lock nut 26 and correct the cutting angle
with adjustment screw 25.
– Afterwards, tighten lock nut 26 and both locking
screws 2 again.
Dust/Chip Extraction
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the
plug from the socket!
Sawdust Ejection
Clean the sawdust ejector 1 regularly. Use a suitable
tool (e. g. piece of wood, compressed air, etc.) to
clean clogged chip ejector.
Keep fingers out of sawdust ejector 1.
External Dust Extraction
As far as possible, use dust extraction. To achieve a
high degree of dust extraction, use a suitable vacu-
um cleaner together with this power tool.
The machine can be connected directly to the socket
outlet of a WÜRTH industrial vacuum cleaner with
remote control operation. The vacuum cleaner is au-
tomatically starting when switching on the machine.
For dust extraction, connect the vacuum hose con-
nection with the adapter and insert it into the dust
extraction port 1. For this, use the special adapter
(702 400 042, accessory).
Provide for good ventilation of the workplace.
We recommend wearing a P2 filter-class respirator.
Observe the relevant regulations in your country for
the materials being worked.
Initial Operation
Observe correct mains voltage: The voltage of the
power source must agree with the voltage specified
on the nameplate of the machine.
Speed Preselection
With the thumbwheel 4, the requested speed can be
preset (even during operation).
The required speed depends on the material and the
working conditions, and can be determined through
practical testing.
When working for longer periods at low speed, cool
down the machine by running it with maximum
speed at no-load for 3 minutes.
