• Never insert utensils or other metal ob-
jects into the toaster slots.
• Make sure the appliance never comes
into contact with water when plugged
in, especially when used near a kitchen
sink.
• Make sure the power cable never gets
wet or damp during use. Always place
the cable in such a way that it is fully un-
rolled and free of any obstructions.
• Always unplug the appliance after use,
to prevent it from being switched on
unintentionally.
• Make sure the plug is easily accessi-
ble, so that the appliance can be un-
plugged quickly in the event of an
emergency.
• Do not operate any appliance that func-
tions abnormally or has a damaged
power cord or plug.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge
of a table or counter or allow it to touch
hot surfaces.

• When in use, the appliance becomes
hot. Therefore, touch only the elements

• Baked goods are flammable! Never

tains or suspended cupboards.

• Never cover the toaster while it is being
used.
• Remove all protective wrapping before
plugging in and operating the appli-
ance.
• If the toaster starts to produce smoke,
press the Cancel Button immediately
to switch it off.
• Make sure to remove the bread from
the slots carefully to avoid injury.
• Avoid toasting foods with extremely
runny ingredients, such as butter.
• After toasting bread slices that are less
than 85 mm long, make sure to remove
them from the slots carefully. The bread
slots are designed to fit regular-sized
slices.
• Never attempt to remove bread
jammed in the slots without first un-
plugging the toaster from the power
