HOW TO POSITION THE ELECTRIC UNDERBLANKET (Fig. A)
Spread the electric underblanket b directly above the mattress a (do not position it underneath the
pillow) with the side containing the plug g turned towards the mattress. Make sure that it is smoothly
spread out. Lay the bottom sheet c on top of the electric underblanket, then finish making the bed
as normal with another sheet d and bedcovers e.
HOW TO CONNECT OR REMOVE THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL DEVICE (Fig. B)
THE ELECTRIC UNDERBLANKET CAN ONLY BE USED WITH THE TYPE OF CONTROL OR
SWITCH SUPPLIED, AS SPECIFIED ON THE LABEL STITCHED ONTO THE APPLIANCE.
To connect the temperature control to the electric underblanket insert the control device socket f in
the plug g.
For the double blanket, repeat this operation for the other socket. For easier bed making, we suggest
you remove the socket f from the electric underblanket by pressing the clips on either side of the
plug g.
HOW TO SWITCH ON THE ELECTRIC UNDERBLANKET AND CHOOSE THE RIGHT
TEMPERATURE
Important: Do not place the control device underneath the pillow or bedcovers when it is turned on.
Before reading any further, check the type of control supplied with your electric underblanket.
Dual temperature control (Fig.C)
Plug into the mains socket. Switch the electric underblanket on at least one hour before going to bed
setting the temperature control switch to level 2 (maximum temperature). After about one hour, the
bed will be pleasantly warm.
If the room is very cold, turn on the electric underblanket two or three hours before going to
bed.
If you wish to keep the electric underblanket warm all night, turn the control to setting 1 (minimum
temperature) when you go to bed. Do not use setting 2 (maximum temperature). If you want to turn
the electric underblanket off, turn the control to setting 0 and remove the plug from the socket.
Control with automatic switch-off timer (Fig. D)
The control with a timer has two automatic switching off phases: after 75 minutes or after 12
hours. To switch the electric underblanket on, put the plug into the mains socket. Set the switch
h to the required position according to whether automatic switch-off is to take place after 75
minutes or 12 hours. Activation of the electric underblanket is shown by the orange LED j
lighting up. Once the required time has been selected the electric underblanket will operate until
the time elapses, after which it will switch off. Switching off is signalled by the indicator light i
beside the control key blinking constantly. To set the required temperature
temperature regulation knob k.
During the bed pre-heating phase it is recommended to use the maximum temperatures (8/9)
while you are recommended to lower the temperature to between 1 and 4 when going to bed,
as shown in table A.

The bed will be pleasantly warm after about 10 minutes, but 20/30 minutes are needed before the
maximum temperature selected is reached. If you want to turn the electric underblanket off,
position the key h on OFF and remove the plug from the socket. If you want to reprogram
