Calibration/Adjustment
The procedure for external calibration/adjustment
is described in the chapter entitled "Operating
the Balance" in the operating instructions, under
the section on "Calibration/Adjustment."
Internal Calibration/Adjustment
Remove the weighing chamber cover
Remove the weighing pan from the balance
Position the special calibration weight (supplied
with the balance) as shown in the illustration
Replace the weighing chamber cover on the balance
with the arrow pointing forward
Press e to turn the balance off and then on again
When the display shows zero, press the
key twice to start calibration
> The internal calibration weight is applied
automatically
> The balance is calibrated and, if necessary,
adjusted (see the chapter entitled "Operating
the Balance" in the operating instructions
for LA balances, under the section on
"Calibration/Adjustment")
After calibration has been completed, press e to
turn off the balance, remove the special calibration
weight and replace the weighing pan on the balance
(to do this, remove the weighing chamber cover,
remove the special calibration weight, place the
weighing pan on the balance, and position
the weighing chamber cover on the weighing pan
with the arrow pointing forward).
Press e to turn on the balance
Important:
There is no overload protection for the weighing
system; make sure you use care when removing
and replacing the weighing pan and the special
calibration weight, to avoid damage to the system.
