PURGE PROCESS
The type of use with a cone adapter (7) without an extension hose (9) is described below, the
procedure is the same when using extension hose (9).
1. Select suitable adaptor and cone from the selection provided in this set.
2. Assemble chosen adaptor with device and connect it to the radiator or reservoir neck.
Note: Some reservoirs located close to other parts and leave limit space on top. Using elbow
adaptor and extension hose to access.
3. Make sure the adaptor sealed completely with reservoir or radiator.
4. Connect adaptor or 90° adaptor and extension hose to the venture system and leave suction
hose to coolant bucket.
5. Connect air to the device. Open the air valve to start purge process. Make sure the valve in
suction hose side is close.
6. Check vacuum gauge to monitor the process. Once the reading reach between 500~600 mm Hg
the operation is completed. Turn off air valve.
Note: During the purge process if the vacuum force can't reach the satisfactory degree. There
might be leakage in the cooling system, which needed to be checked.
