C - USING THE COOKER
Additional instructions
Never use your equipment at a distance of less
than 20 cm from a wall or combustible object.
GB
Position the equipment on a stable, horizontal
surface and do not move when in use so as to
avoid the appearance of large flames resulting
from the combustion of liquid butane rather than
vaporised butane. Should this occur, position the
equipment and turn the tap off.
Set the cooker at low power when using flat
metallic ustensils such as a toaster or a rack for
toasting bread.
Never use your equipment without having first
assembled the feet.
Lighting the burner (fig. 4)
- Turn on the gas by turning wheel (4) fully clockwise.
- Press button (4) immediately after turning on the
gas, several times if necessary.
Cooking:
Place the pan on the supports, centered over the
burner, and regulate the flow of gas (see fig. 2) so that
the flames do not go up the pan.
Extinguishing:
When cooking is finished: switch off the gas by turning
the knob (4) fully clockwise (arrow direction «-»).
Removing the feet
Once your equipment has cooled down completely:
Remove the cartridge (see paragraph "D - Removing
the cartridge").
Hold the equipment in one hand, then pull one of the
feet outwards whilst holding button (3) on the foot
down (Fig. 6).
Repeat this for the other three feet.

D - REMOVING THE CARTRIDGE (fig. 5)
The cartridge may be removed, even if it is not empty.
Replace the cartridge outside and away from other
people.
- Wait until the appliance has cooled down.
- Check that the gas supply is fully turned off by
turning the gas control lever (4) clockwise until the
valve is closed (arrow direction «-»).
- Hold the equipment, unscrew cartridge (5) by turning
it anticlockwise and remove it.
Never dispose of a cartridge until you are sure it is
empty (shake the cartridge and listen for the sound
of liquid).
E - STORAGE AND TROUBLESHOOTING
In case of burn back (ignition under the burner
cap) switch the product off, allow it to cool down
(approximately five minutes), then reignite the
appliance. If the problem of burn back persists,
then please contact your local Campingaz
representative.
Once your equipment has fully cooled
- Store the equipment and the cartridge in a cool, dry
and well-ventilated area, out of reach of children.
Never store in a basement or cellar.
- In the case of the injector becoming clogged (the
cartridge still contains gas but the equipment will
not light), do not try to unclog it yourself. Return the
equipment to your retailer.
- If you use this equipment indoors, the area must
observe elementary ventilation conditions enabling
the supply of air required for combustion and
avoiding any build-up of a dangerous mixture of non-
burnt gas (2 m
/h/kW minimum).
