Gewiss Device installation and connection
4.1 For the column with Restart, check the device is working properly by following the procedure shown below.

If the circuit breaker is not automatically switched back on, this means an insulation problem has been detected in the circuit inside the
column, so check the circuit between the residual current circuit breaker and the contactor.
When the charging station is powered, the status LEDs will light up. After a quick status check, the light turns green and the display
shows the status message (according to the model). The station is ready and in standby either for user identification in order to begin
the recharge (backend and RFID version), or for a recharge request (Autostart version).
If the station encounters an operating defect, the light on the corresponding socket-outlet (or both) will change colour according to the
defect noted (refer to "Faults and troubleshooting").
Line requisites
As the charging stations are equipped with type B residual current protection, or type A [EV] in the version with Restart (as shown in the
electrical diagram attached), if a residual current circuit breaker needs to be installed upstream of the power supply line, it must be of
type B.
