MULTIPURPOSE MAGNETIC CONTACT REPORTING OPENED AND CLOSED DOORS/WINDOWS
Declaration of CE conformity: Nice s.p.a. declares under its sole responsibility that the products described in this manual comply with the requirements set out by
the Directives LVD 2014/35/EU - EMC 2014/30/EU. The complete declaration is available in our site

Warnings and precaution: These devices can be used only in conjunction with our alarm system and in compliance with the instructions supplied in this manual.
Devices can be played indoor or outdoor properly sheltered from the elements and according to operating temperature limits. This device must be installed and
commissioned by qualified technical staff according to current regulations. Any other use is considered improper and forbidden! The manufacturer is not liable for
damages resulting from the improper use of the product other than those provided herein.
Operation: this is a magnetic contact that reports doors&windows opening when magnet is moved away from contact's body. Sensor is supplied with a terminal
board to connect:
a) in series one or more magnetic contacts (up to 5 meter of cable) - normally closed input, 500 msec alarm delay with contact opening.
b) a NC/NO transition phase pulse count roller shutters hardwired detector triggering an alarm after 6 transition phases.
The three types of alarm are individually managed by the control panel according to their configuration.
Caution: EN50131-1 Standard does not allow using the terminal board without balanced line operation.
Tamper alarm: Sensor Bus is supplied with a contact switch reporting when housing is opened.
Installation instructions (see figures):
a) Open the device using a screwdriver to push the side flaps towards the inside of the Sensor.
b) Temporarily connect the device to Touch-screen part no. 4020, follow the audio and visual instructions on the display to permanently it setup, then disconnect it.
c) Install the device on the fixed section of a window/door frame and the magnet on the movable section in such a way that its opening will move magnet away from
the sensor. Place magnet on the frame taking into account the greatest distance allowed between the two bodies (see figures).
d) Ensure that bus line is not powered and connected it to the sensor according to the supplied drawings. Non-insulated conductor sections must be fully contained
within the terminals to prevent short circuits. You can connect the unit to the Bus line using 0.15 diameter conductors for short distances (<2m).
e) Connect any additional devices. Note: all inputs automatically activate 5 seconds after contact closure.
f) Insert end of line resistor where required closing relevant jumper (closed contact).
g) Close device's housing. Power the device once all Bus line connections have been completed.
Programming, commissioning and operating instructions: see also manual of the employed Sil-Bus control panel.
Technical specifications: see side figures and diagram.
Bus LED indicators:
flashing = successful bus polling
off = bus faults, check END R and insert/remove it as required.
Distances between magnet and contact: see table.
