1. Remove the charging unit from the pack-
aging.
2. Place the charging unit free-standing on a
non-inflammable, level surface.
3. Insert the power plug. The charging unit is
ready for operation.

4.1
Charging the rechargeable battery
NOTE
Fully charge the rechargeable battery
before using it for the first time. The re-
chargeable battery can be charged in
any charge status. Interrupting charging
does not damage the rechargeable bat-
tery.
