Only use the machine if it is in perfect technical
condition.
Always keep the guard plate, spool head and
motor clear of mowing residues.
Keep your body and clothing away from the bla-
de system.
People who are not familiar with the trimmer
should practice handling it while the motor is
turned off.
Wear appropriate working clothes.
Make sure you can stand securely when wor-

Always operate the machine with two hands.
Keep other people out of the danger area.
Do not leave the machine unsupervised.
When mowing on a slope, always stand below
the cutting device.
When working on a slope:
Never work on a smooth and slippery slope.
Always ensure that you are standing secu-

Always mow across the slope, never down
or up.
Do not work on slopes with a more than 10°
gradient!
Pay particular attention when turning!
After contact with a foreign object:
Switch off the motor.
Check the machine for damage.
Do not operate the machine if you are under the

Electrical safety
Caution!
Danger of touching live parts!
Immediately disconnect the plug from the
mains if the extension cable has been dama-
ged or cut! We recommend connecting via an
RCCB with a rated residual current < 30 mA.
The domestic mains voltage must match the in-
formation relating to mains voltage in the techni-
cal data; do not use any other supply voltage.
Only use extension cables that are intended for
outdoor use – minimum cross section 1.5 mm
Always reel in cable drums fully.
Do not use damaged or brittle extension cables.
16
Check the condition of your extension cable
before each use.
Secure the extension cable in the cable strain
relief.
Do not get the machine wet or expose it to mois-
ture.
Keep children away from machines connected to
the mains.
