Voice Coil Offset (DC Offset)
SC Amp can be used with external voltage sources in order to apply an offset to the stimulus sent to a
speaker under test.

The SoundCheck system is connected via USB to DC Connect
DC Connect output is connected to the DC Offset input of SC Amp
The SoundCheck sound card Output 1 is connected to the Line In of SC Amp
A DC Connect Stimulus Step in a test sequence controls DC Connect to send a 1 VDC signal to SC
Amp
The sine sweep stimulus from the SoundCheck sequence has a positive offset of 1 V applied to it
as show in
Figure 7-6.
