From the 12-pin harness to the aftermarket radio:
• The 12-pin harness is to be used in conjunction with the optional ASWC-1
(not included) to retain steering wheel controls. If the ASWC-1 is not being
used, disregard this harness. If it will be used, follow the instructions under
Pre-wired ASWC-1 harness.
Tip: If your vehicle is amplified, for best sound quality solder RCA ends onto
the BX-GM3 speaker wires and use your radios RCA pre-outs instead.
INSTAllING THE BX-GM3
• Initialize the interface by turning the ignition on for 30 seconds, then turn
the ignition back off, and on again.
PRE-WIRED ASWC-1 HARNESS
• This harness is to be used in conjunction with the ASWC-1 (not included) to
retain steering wheel controls. Please refer to the ASWC-1 instructions for
programming.
• The following wire must be cut before programming the ASWC-1:
• For the following vehicles cut the Green/Orange wire. If your vehicle is not
listed, do not cut anything:
