Orient cover support collar [10] as required by removing and reinstalling screws [11]. Lap joint in collar defines the
hinge location of the cover (SEE FIGURES E & F).

Install finished flooring to within 1/8 inch [3.2 mm] of cover support collar [10]. FOR CERAMIC TILE - DO NOT GROUT
BETWEEN THE SUPPORT COLLAR AND TILE.

Adjust height of cover support collar flush to just below the finished floor. Cover support collar is adjustable for
finished floors of 0 inches to .25 inches [0.0 - 6.4 mm] thick. Tighten mounting screws [11] to 10 - 15 lbs-in torque
[1.1 - 1.7 N m]. For thicker floor finishes use accessory collars (CFB6RCVRR series), sold separately.
18.
Seal the gap around the cover support collar [10] with a continuous bead of electrical grade type RTV silicone sealant
(SEE FIGURE G).
19.
Use the provided floor gasket or apply a 1/4 inch [6.3 mm] thick continuous bead of electrical grade type RTV silicone
sealant around the perimeter on the underside of the flange [12].
20.
Attach flange [12] to the cover support collar [10] using #8-32 flat head screws [13] provided with the cover. Tighten
to 10 - 15 lbs-in torque [1.1 - 1.7 N m].

Remove four #8-32 pan head screws [1] from top corners of floor box assembly and retain.
2.
Remove transition [2] and mounting plate [3] assemblies from box and retain.
3.
Install leveling screws [4] as shown in FIGURE A.
4.
Make conduit connections in accordance with application and applicable electric codes. 2 trade size conduit hubs,
(CFBHUB2) may be used in place of Knockout plates [5] as needed.
5.
Wiring channel [6] can be positioned along either side of box. Reinstall mounting plate [3] aligning opening with
wiring channel (SEE FIGURE B).
