Pendulum Action Setting
The pendulum action can be adjusted
in four steps with the adjustment le-
ver 9. Switching is possible with the
machine running:
No pendulum action
Step 0:
Step I:
Small pendulum action
Step II:
Medium pendulum action
Step III:
Large pendulum action
Recommendations:
– The more narrow and clean the cutting edge
should be, the lower the pendulum action level
should be selected (or switched off).
– For thin materials, e. g. sheet metal, switch the
pendulum action off.
– For hard materials, e. g. steel, work with low pen-
dulum action.
– For soft materials and when sawing in the direction
of the grain, work with maximum pendulum action.
The optimal setting can be determined by practical
testing.
Dust Protection
Dusts developing during working can be hazard-
ous to one's health, combustible or explosive.
Suitable protective measures are required.
For example: Some materials are considered car-
cinogenic. Wear a suitable dust protection mask.
Claims can only be accepted if the power tool is
sent undisassembled to a Würth branch office,
your Würth sales representative or a customer
service agent for Würth compressed-air and
power tools.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Before any work on the machine itself, remove
the battery.
For safe and proper working, always keep the
machine and the ventilation slots clean.
16
In order to avoid operational malfunctions, do not
saw gypsum board from below or overhead.
The guide roller 11 should occasionally be checked
for wear and lubricated with a drop of oil. If it is
worn, it must be replaced.
If the machine should happen to fail despite the care
taken in manufacture and testing, repair should be
carried out by an authorized customer service agent
for Würth power tools.
For all correspondence and spare parts orders, al-
ways include the article number on the type plate of
the machine.
For the current spare parts list of this machine, log
into the Internet under "http://www.wuerth.com/
partsmanager" or ask for a copy at your nearest
Würth branch office.
Disposal
Power tools, accessories and packaging should be
sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.
Only for EC countries:
Do not dispose of power tools into
household waste!
According to the European Directive
2002/96/EC on waste electrical
and electronic equipment and its in-
corporation into national law, power
tools that are no longer suitable for use must be sep-
arately collected and sent for recovery in an environ-
mental-friendly manner.
Battery packs/batteries:
Do not dispose of battery packs/batteries into
household waste, water or fire. Battery packs/bat-
teries must be collected, recycled or disposed of in
an environmentally-friendly way.
Only for EC countries:
Defective or dead batteries must be recycled accord-
ing to the directive 91/157/EEC.
