Precautions
Points to observe for safe usage
Read this manual carefully before using this item and its
components. They contain instructions on how to use this product in a
safe and effective manner. Caliber Europe BV cannot be responsible
for problems resulting from failure to observe the instructions in this
manual.
Turn off the device immediately in case of a problem.
Failure to do so may cause personal injury or damage to the product.
Return it to your authorized Caliber Europe BV dealer for repairing.
Product cleaning.
Use a soft dry cloth for periodic cleaning of the product. For more
severe stains, please dampen the cloth with water only. Anything else
has the chance of dissolving the paint or damaging the plastic.
Temperature.
Be sure the temperature inside the room is between +35°C (+95°F)
and -10°C (+14°F) before turning your unit on.
Battery charging
The device has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. For the first time; charge the battery for 5 hours.
The unit is provided with USB-to-Mini USB cable.
Connect the USB to a 5V USB port and the other end to the DC-in of the unit. While charging a
indicator will light up and will turn OFF when fully charged.
Connecting via Bluetooth
• Turn ON the speaker (by pressing the only button on the rock) you will see the speaker's blue LED
blinking (waiting for connection).
• Choose "HSB407BT_CALIBER" pairing name on your phone list (or other device) to get connected
with the speaker and your phone, you will hear 'connected'. Let the fun begin!
Disconnect:
• Double press or hold the power button on the speaker, it will disconnect.
Connecting two speakers (to make a pair, a second speaker should be purchased)
• Turn on both speakers (by pressing the only button on the rock) you will see the 2 speaker's blue LED
blinking (waiting for connection).
• Choose one speaker, double press the power button to make it as master speaker (The master
speaker connects to your media playing bluetooth device or AUX-in by auto select.
• After 2 seconds you will hear 'connected', then the 2 speakers are connected
• The sub speaker has been connected and will stop blinking, the master speaker is still blinking,
waiting for connection.
• You will see only one pairing name on your phone list (or other device). Choose
"HSB407BT_CALIBER", to get connected with the master speaker and your phone, you will hear
another 'connected'. The master speaker will stop blinking.
Disconnect:
• Double press the power button on the master speaker, it will disconnect with the sub speaker.
• Again double press the power button on the master speaker, sub speaker will be connected.
Note: The BT distance between phone and master speaker, master and sub speaker is 10 meters.
AUX-IN:
For the optional wired connection you can connect an external device e.g. MP3/MP4 player to the
AUX-in of the HSB407BT using the provided jack-to-jack cable.
• When an external device is connected, it automaticcally switches to Line-in mode.
• Start playing music on your external device.

If you have problems, do not attempt to repair the unit yourself. Return
it to your Caliber Europe BV dealer for servicing.
Placement.

Place the product on a flat surface. Provide enough space around the
product for sufficient ventilation.
Heat.

Do not locate the appliance in the vicinity of a heat surface or in direct
sunlight.
Accessories.

Use only supplied accessories
Battery.
!
Avoid overcharging. The battery could overheat.
Replace battery.
!
The built-in rechargebale battery is not replaceable. Do not remove or
replace the battery, do not throw in the trash or in the fire.

Nettoyage du produit.
Utilisez un chiffon doux et sec pour nettoyer le produit périodiquement.
Pour traiter les taches les plus tenaces, veuillez humidifier le chiffon
avec de l'eau uniquement. Tout autre produit risque de dissoudre la
peinture ou d'endommager le plastique.
Température.
Veillez à ce la température à l'intérieur de la pièce se situe entre
+35°C (+95°F) et -10°C (+14°F) avant de mettre l'appareil sous tension.
Chargement de la pile
Cet appareil est équipé d'une pile lithium rechargeable intégrée. Rechargez la pile pendant 5 heures lors du premier
chargement. Un câble USB vers mini-USB est fourni avec l'appareil.
Branchez le câble USB sur un port USB de 5 V, et l'autre extrémité sur l'entrée DC-in de l'appareil. Pendant le charge-
ment, un témoin lumineux s'allume, puis s'éteint une fois le chargement terminé.
Connexion via Bluetooth
• Mettez l'enceinte sous tension (en appuyant sur le seul bouton du rocher). Vous verrez alors le voyant LED bleu de
l'enceinte clignoter (en attente de connexion).
• Choisissez le nom d'appariement « HSB407BT_CALIBER » dans la liste de votre téléphone (ou de tout autre ap-
pareil) pour connecter l'enceinte à votre téléphone. Vous entendrez alors « connected » (« connecté »). Que la fête
commence !
Déconnexion :
• Appuyez deux fois ou maintenez la pression sur le bouton de l'enceinte. Elle se déconnecte alors.
Connexion de deux enceintes (pour former une paire, une seconde enceinte doit être achetée)
• Mettez les deux enceintes sous tension (en appuyant sur le seul bouton du rocher). Vous verrez alors le voyant LED
bleu des deux enceintes clignoter (en attente de connexion).
• Choisissez l'une des enceintes, appuyez deux fois sur le bouton d'alimentation pour en faire l'enceinte maîtresse
(l'enceinte maîtresse se connecte à votre appareil de lecture multimédia Bluetooth ou au AUX-in par sélection
automatique).
• Au bout de 2 secondes, vous entendrez « connected » (« connecté »). Les deux enceintes sont alors connectées.
• L'enceinte secondaire est connectée et cesse de clignoter. L'enceinte maîtresse clignote toujours, en attente de
connexion.
• Vous ne verrez qu'un seul nom d'appariement dans la liste de votre téléphone (ou de tout autre appareil). Choisis-
sez « HSB407BT_CALIBER » pour connecter l'enceinte maîtresse à votre téléphone. Vous entendrez alors à
nouveau « connected » (« connecté »). L'enceinte maîtresse cesse de clignoter.
Déconnexion :
• Appuyez deux fois sur le bouton d'alimentation de l'enceinte maîtresse. Celle-ci se déconnecte alors de l'enceinte secondaire.
• Appuyez à nouveau deux fois sur le bouton d'alimentation de l'enceinte maîtresse. L'enceinte secondaire est alors connectée.
Remarque : La distance Bluetooth entre le téléphone et l'enceinte maîtresse et entre l'enceinte maîtresse et l'enceinte
secondaire est de 10 mètres.
AUX-IN :
Pour la connexion filaire optionnelle, vous pouvez brancher un périphérique externe, p. ex. un lecteur MP3/MP4, sur
l'entrée AUX-in du HSB407BT à l'aide du câble jack vers jack fourni.
• Lorsqu'un périphérique externe est branché, il passe automatiquement en mode Line-in.
• Démarrez la lecture de musique sur votre périphérique externe.

En cas de problèmes, ne tentez pas de réparer l'appareil par
vous-même. Retournez-le à votre revendeur agréé Caliber Europe BV
pour l'entretien.
Disposition.
! Posez le produit sur une surface plane. Prévoyez un espace suffisant
autour du produit pour assurer une aération suffisante.
Chaleur.

Ne disposez pas l'appareil à proximité d'une source de chaleur ou
exposé aux rayons solaires.
Accessoires.

Utilisez exclusivement les accessoires fournis
Pile
Évitez de la charger excessivement. La pile pourrait autrement

surchauffer.
Remplacement de la pile
La pile rechargeable intégrée n'est pas remplaçable. Ne retirez pas

et ne remplacez pas la pile ; ne la jetez pas dans la poubelle ou ne
l'incinérez pas.
