INTRODUCTION
The DESQ glass vibration alarm 2004 provides protection of unwanted intruders in your (home)
office by detecting the vibration to or breakage of a window. It can provide valuable protection if
used properly. However, this unit cannot guarantee complete protection against burglary or robbery.
Therefore, DESQ International will not be held responsible for any loss or damage which could occur.
In order to use this product correctly, read these instructions carefully. Please keep instructions for
future reference.

1) To apply the alarm system on any glass surface, remove the film covering the warning sign in
front of the sensor. The film is covering and adhesive, which when pressed to a glass surface will
adhere to the glass.
2) To remove the alarm system (if needed) use a blow dryer and warm the sticky backing attached
to the glass working the heat around the unit. While still warming the adhesive twist the unit until it
disengages from the glass. The unit should be reusable unless the unit has been removed multiple
times and adhesive has lost its cohesion.
OPERATION
The DESQ 2004 glass vibration alarm has a powerful 90 db siren. A slide switch is located on the
side of the unit to select the right position.
ALARM MODE
1) To arm the unit, slide the switch to the "ON" position. The unit will automatically arm itself.
2) When a protected window is broken or excess force is applied, the alarm will immediately sound
during 30 seconds and will reset itself.
3) To disarm the unit, slide the switch to OFF position.
LOW BATTERY
When the alarm volume becomes low, or the unit does not produce a normal strong alarm sound,
replace the battery.
