material damage will be accepted if the units
are used for other purposes than originally
intended, if they are not correctly connected
or operated or if they are not repaired in an
expert way
If the units are to be put out of oper-
ation definitively, take them to a local
recycling plant for a disposal which is
not harmful to the environment
3 Applications, Accessories
Combined with the wireless microphone RU-
G3TH / 5 or the pocket transmitter RU-G3TB / 5,
the receiver RU-901G3 / 5 creates a wireless
audio system which is ideally suited for profes-
sional stage applications The REMOSET func-
tion is a most convenient feature for operating
the system: Simply press a button to transfer
the settings of the receiver to the wireless
microphone / pocket transmitter via an ultrasonic
signal
The receiver uses "Diversity" technology:
The signal sent from the transmitter is received
by two antennas and amplified in two separate
receiver sections The signal of the highest qual-
ity is then processed
For installation of the receiver into a rack
(482 mm / 19"), the device holder DR-900SET
(order number: 24 4770) is available as an ac-
cessory; the holder is designed for up to two
receivers and requires 1 rack space (= 44 5 mm)
3.1 Conformity and approval
Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL declare
that the receiver RU-901G3 / 5 complies with

4 Operation
4.1 Connection
1) Insert the antennas provided (1) into the an-
tenna jacks (15) and put them in a vertical
position
Hint: To increase the range and the interference
resistance, JTS antenna amplifiers (e g UB-900I)
can be used The amplifiers are supplied with
power via the antenna jacks of the receiver
2) Two audio outputs are available to connect
the receiver to the subsequent unit (e g
mixer, amplifier):
– XLR output (14): balanced output for con-
nection to a microphone input (when 20 dB
level attenuation ATT is activated,
ter 4 3) or to a line input
– 6 3 mm output (13): unbalanced output for
connection to a line input
3) For power supply, connect the power sup-
ply unit provided to the power supply jack
DCV INPUT (12) and then to a mains socket
(230 V/ 50 Hz) The receiver is provided with
a strain relief (11): Lead the cable around the
hook to prevent accidental disconnection of
the power supply unit from the receiver
