Disinfection Procedure
1. Sterilizer 4: Remove inserts from the unit.
Sterilizer 6: Remove the basket inserts
separately from the unit.
2. Sterilizer 4: Place the bottles with opening
facing downwards through the upper basket
onto the lower basket. By turning the upper
basket around, it can easily be adjusted to
different bottle heights. Large and small bottles
can be disinfected at the same time.
Sterilizer 6: Place the bottles with opening
facing downwards onto the lower basket. Large
and small bottles can be disinfected at the
same time.
3. Sterilizer 4: Place all smaller parts like teats,
screw-rings etc. in the four corners of the upper
and lower basket. They may be placed lightly
as the surrounding steam will disinfect them
evenly.
Sterilizer 6: Place all smaller parts like teats,
screw-rings etc. on the upper basket. They may
be placed lightly as the surrounding steam will
disinfect them evenly. Connect upper and
lower basket.
4. Pour 60 ml (for sterilizer 6: 70 ml) of tap
water into the evaporating dish.
5. Place the basket insert in the tank and close
the lid.
6. Plug the unit into an electrical socket. Press the
switch to turn on. The red indicator light is on
as long as the sterilizer is in operation.
After completing disinfection, which lasts
about 15 minutes, the sterilizer switches off
automatically. The disinfected bottles and teats
are ready for use again.
Caution: The bottles may still be hot direct-
ly following disinfection. Therefore, remove
the bottles form the unit with the bottle
tongs.
7. After disinfection the sterilizer 4 requires
approx. 30 minutes to cool down; the
sterilizer 6 approx. 60 minutes. It is then
ready for use again.
