Important Notes

Functions

• Electronic module for operation of reverse loops or wyes
in digital or analog operation.
• Switching is done with 4 „short circuit-free" sensors.
• Switching by means of short circuit recognition is possible.
• Adjustable switching threshold with short circuit
recognition.
• Switching output for switch drives with double coil for
use for switches with polarized core, for example (only in
digital operation with sensor tracks).

Operation Notes

The following points must be noted for reliable operation of
the reverse loop:
• The entire area monitored by the reverse loop module
may only have one train running in it at any time.
• The sensor tracks should be between 5 and 20 cm / 2"
and 8" long.
• Note that the insulated area of the reverse loop and the
area between two reverse loops must be longer than the
longest train to be run on it.
• When connecting a turnout to the module the switching
direction of the turnout must be checked before the
first time the reverse loop is operated. If necessary, the
connections from the turnout to the module may have to
be swapped.
