expensive treatment.
5.7 Using the Lumilisse® Hair Remover safely
Safety is a priority with the Lumilisse® Hair Remover
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology provides maximum safety and minimum
risk. Epilation using the Intense Pulsed Light technology lets you achieve long-lasting
results. The Lumilisse® Hair Remover's low energy use reduces the chances of injury or
complications and contributes to your overall safety.
The Lumilisse® Hair Remover has a system to protect your eyes
The Lumilisse® Hair Remover is designed with a built-in system (skin contact sensor)
that will protect your eyes. This was designed so that the pulse cannot be emitted
if the Lumilisse® Hair Remover is aimed at open space. The safety mechanism only
allows the unit to work when the application surface (colored treatment window)
is touching the skin. Do not look at the area being treated when the unit flashes.
Light will be visible even if the unit is in full contact with your skin. This is part of
the normal operating procedure. It is safe, but if the light is uncomfortable or too
bright, you may wear sunglasses or goggles for your convenience. Just make sure
that the glasses / goggles allow you to clearly see where you are placing the device
on your skin.
