MAINTENANCE
As needed:
1. Wipe unit clean with a mild detergent. Do not use
abrasive cleaners or strong cleaning agents.
2. If view window becomes dirty, remove and wash in
warm, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Flush
out interior of wand head with clear water.
3. Inspect vacuum break seal. If seal is torn or worn,
contact your Dri-Eaz distributor for a replacement.
4. Inspect extraction glide for wear or damage. If the
head is deeply scratched or excessively worn, contact
your Dri-Eaz distributor for a replacement.
EXTRACTION TIPS
1. For best results, use the tool with a professional
extractor such as the portable HVE 3000 or a
truckmount extractor. Consumer-type wet/dry vacuums
do not provide adequate vacuum.
2. Move the tool back and forth in long overlapping
strokes. Keep the extraction glide flat to the surface. It is
not necessary to press down on the tool.
3. If the vacuum pressure causes the tool to "grab" the
surface, briefly squeeze the vacuum break to release the
tool, then resume extraction.
