I. LEGAL WARRANTY
The legal warranty for GET batteries for all private customers is for a period of 24 months
from the date of emission on the market, as specified by the current regulations in Europe
and the Consumer Code (Italian Leg. Decree 206/2005).
The warranty is only valid if product transport, storage, assembly, installation, start-up,
operation and maintenance were carried out correctly in compliance with the supplied
instruction manual.
The warranty does NOT apply in the following cases:
- The battery is damaged by excessive voltages or currents while charging
- The battery is damaged by excessive discharge or excessively heavy use
- The battery was subjected to a short circuit, impact, it was dropped, immersed, etc
- The battery was damaged during natural or human-caused events, such as floods or road accidents.
- The battery was damaged by a defective charging system.
- The battery was used improperly, for uses other than starting motorcycles or similar vehicles.
- The battery was exposed to temperatures above 55°C.
L. LIABILITY
The manufacturer, importer and reseller shall not be held liable for any damage
to property or persons caused by use beyond what is permitted by these instructions.
M. BRANDS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Athena declares hereby that the products GK-ATHBL-0003 and GK-
ATHBL-0004 comply with the essential requirements of Directives
EMC 2014/30/EU and Directive Rohs 2011/65/EU . The full tex t of the
