m)Only position the pneumatic hacksaw onto the
work piece when it is switched on. There is
danger of kickback occurring or of losing
control over the pneumatic hacksaw.
n) It is forbidden to rivet or screw any name-
plates or signs onto the pneumatic hacksaw.
Use adhesive labels.
o) Do not use any accessories that have not been
specifically designed and recommended by
the manufacturer of the pneumatic hacksaw.
Operation is not automatically safe because
an accessory happens to fit your pneumatic
hacksaw.
p) Beware of any concealed electric cables, gas
or water conduits; check the working area
with a metal detector, for example, before
commencing work.
5) Service
a) Your pneumatic hacksaws should only be re-
paired by qualified specialists and only with
original spare parts. This will ensure that the
safety of the pneumatic hacksaw is main-
tained.

Intended use of the pneumatic tool.
This pneumatic tool is intended as a hand-
guided, pneumatic hacksaw for commercial use,
for sawing wood, plastics and metal using the
application tools and accessories recommended
by FEIN.
Operating instructions.
Mounting the auxiliary handle (Figure 1).
Before assembling, disconnect the com-
pressed-air connection. If the pneumatic
hacksaw is started accidentally it could cause
personal injury.
Screw the auxiliary handle (1) tightly
onto the gear head using the fillister head
screws (5d).
Tighten the fillister head screws (5d)
firmly using the socket head wrench (5i).
Assembling the saw blade (Figure 4).
Before assembling, disconnect the com-
pressed-air connection. If the pneumatic
hacksaw is started accidentally it could cause
personal injury.
Remove both the hexagon nuts on the
stroke mechanism using the open-jawed
wrench (5h).
Remove the pressing plate.
Assemble the saw blade (4) and the
pressing plate onto the stroke mechanism.
Tighten the hexagon nuts firmly again.
