from those intended could result in a hazardous
situation.
- Unplug the appliance from the mains before
replacing any accessory.
- Let the appliance running with no load for 30
seconds in a safe position. If you notice serious
vibration or other defects stop the appliance
immediately. Then check the problem and /or proceed
as we describe on Anomalies and Repair clause.
Service:
- Make sure that the appliance is serviced only by
specialist personnel, and that only original spare
parts or accessories are used to replace existing
parts/accessories.
- CAUTION: There is a risk of fire if the appliance's
cleaning is not done according to these instructions.
- Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for
use renders the guarantee and the manufacturer's
liability null and void.
Installation
Auxiliary Operation
- Operate the appliance only with the auxiliary handle.
- Turn the auxiliary handle in counter clockwise
direction for adjustment (E).
- Set the auxiliary handle on the appliance into the
required position.
- Tighten the auxiliary handle in clockwise direction
(E).
- The depth can be set with the depth gauge (F).
Thereby loosen the winged screw (O)
- Set de required drilling depth.
- Tighten the winged screw (O).
Instructions for use
Before use:
- Make sure that all the product's packaging has been
removed.
- Prepare the appliance according to the function you
wish to use:
Fitting the working tools: (Fig. 2)
- Unplug the appliance from the mains.
- Only use tools with SDS-plus shaft
- Clean and grease the shaft of the tool.
- Install the drill bit or accessory in the drill
chuck. Turn the drill bit slightly until it can be
pushed in all the way and you can feel it engages
into place.
- Ensure that the drill bit is locked.
SDS-plus adapter for drilling in wood or
metal (Fig. 2)
- Unplug the appliance from the mains.
- Fit the SDS-plus adapter (L) into the SDS-plus
chuck as described above.
- Screw the Drill Chuck (K) on the mounting shaft
and Screw the mounting Screw (M).
- Open the drill chuck (K), whilst the device is
completely switched off.
- Insert the drill bit, screwdriver bit, or other tool/
accessory required for the task, into the chuck.
In order to obtain a secure fastening of the bit,
insert the bit as far as you can into the chuck.
- Insert the drill bit and tighten the drill chuck
with the drill chuck key (P)
- Don't use rotation with hammering when the
SDS-plus adaptor + drill chuck is installed on
the device.
How to select the direction of the
rotation (Fig 1)
- Do not change the direction of the rotation
whilst the tool motor is in operation.
- The appliance has a selector (D), which allows
the direction of rotation to be changed.
