If the motor of the filter is very
noisy unplug the filter and take
it out of the aqua-terrarium.
Pull off the motor housing (F)
and remove the impeller. (pic-
ture 5) Rinse out the pump and
clean the impeller. After clean-
ing replace the impeller and re-
assemble the motor housing to
the filter unit. Install the filter in
the aqua-terrarium again and
plug in the unit.
When adding tap water to the
aqua-terrarium you should add
Tetra ® ReptoSafe
neutralize substances that are
harmful to reptile/fish such as
chlorine and heavy metals.

Tetra ® ReptoFilter and any other
electronic unit from the mains
electricity. The control unit can-
not be replaced. If this is dama-
ged the filter must no longer be
used. The Tetra
only designed for use in tempera-
tures which do not exceed 35°C.
The electricity cable cannot be
replaced. If the cable is dama-
ged, the appliance should be
scrapped.
This appliance is not intended
for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and know-
ledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their
