CAUTION
regularly for signs of
damage.
Switch the vacuum cleaner off imme-
diately as soon as foam or water
comes out, and empty the container.
In case of a short-circuit and/or heavy
discharge of dust, switch the vacuum
cleaner off immediately and discon-
nect it from the power supply.
For transport of the vacuum cleaner,
activate the vacuum cleaner's lockable
castor brake.
Repair and customer service.
Check the connections, seals and
hoses. Have damage repaired only
through a qualified repair person and
only using original FEIN replacement
parts.
Use commercially available, non-
scouring cleaning agents and water for
cleaning the vacuum cleaner. After
cleaning, allow the vacuum cleaner to
dry completely.
Empty the container each time
after using and remove coarse
debris and dust.
Empty the container after vacuuming
liquids. Afterwards, run the vacuum
cleaner with the accessories con-
nected for several minutes in order to
dry them.
Dispose of used flat-fold filters and fil-
ter bags according to statutory regula-
tions.
When replacing the power cable is
required, have this carried out by
FEIN or by an authorized FEIN
Service Agent, in order to avoid haz-
ardous situations.
Have a dust-technical inspection car-
ried out at least once every year by
the manufacturer or an instructed
person, e. g., for damage of the filter,
function and tightness against leakage
of the vacuum cleaner.
For category L vacuum cleaners that
were in contaminated environments,
the exterior as well as all machine
parts should be cleaned or treated
with sealants. When performing
maintenance and repair work, all con-
taminated components that cannot be
cleaned to satisfactory must be dis-
posed of. Such components must be
disposed of in impermeable plastic
bags conforming with the valid regula-
tions for the disposal of such waste.
For maintenance on behalf of the user,
the vacuum cleaner must be disassem-
bled, cleaned and maintained as far as
feasible, without causing a risk for the
maintenance personnel or other per-
sons. Prior to disassembly, the vac-
uum cleaner should be cleaned in
order to prevent any risks.
The room/enclosure in which the vac-
uum cleaner is disassembled should
be well ventilated. Wear personal
protective equipment during mainte-
nance. After the maintenance, the
maintenance area should be cleaned.
