Microphone input 1: Connect a microphone
(mono in the left channel)

(mono in the right channel)
NOTE: When a microphone is connected to each
microphone input, you can record in stereo.
3 Installation
3.1 Installation in Windows
1. Connect the box to an unused USB port on
your computer.
2. Insert the CD provided and run the
"D:\Setup.exe" file (where "D" indicates your
CD/DVD drive).
3. Click "Finish". Your computer will restart.
3.2 Installation in Windows
NOTE: Do not connect the box yet.
1. Insert the CD provided and run the
"D:\Vista\Setup.exe" file (where "D" indicates
your CD/DVD drive).
2. Connect the box to an unused USB port on
your computer and click "Try again".
3. Click "Finish". Your computer will restart.
3.3 Installation in Windows
NOTE: Do not connect the box yet.
1. Insert the CD provided and run the
"D:\XP\Setup.exe" file (where "D" indicates
your CD/DVD drive).

2. Connect the box to an unused USB port on
your computer and click "OK".
3. Click "Next", and "Next" again.
4. Click "Finish". Your computer will restart.
You now have the
icon in your notification
area. Click the icon to configure the box. The
configurations are examined tab by tab in the
following sections.
NOTE: The text below refers to English
designations. If you do not have an English
version of Windows, these might be translated
into the language of your version of Windows.

4 Main setting

4.1 System input
NOTE: This function is only available in
Windows

7 and Windows
In order to achieve optimal sound reproduction
you can select what is to be played back here.
Click the
icon to view a list of suggestions.
You should, for example, select "2CH" if you are
playing MP3 music files and "8CH" if you are
playing a 3D game.
4.2 Virtual or real speakers
4.2.1 Virtual speakers: DSP Mode
The DSP Mode function allows you to use the
box's virtual surround system. This can, for
example, give you a better sound experience
when using headphones or a small set of
speakers.
1. Click the
icon by the text "DSP Mode" and
then the
icon.
