Installing the Insert
1. Turn off power to PanelView Terminal.
ATTENTION: Disconnect power whenever working on the back
panel side on the PanelView Terminal. Failure to disconnect
!
power may result electrical shock and/or damage to the terminal.
2. Remove any power or communications cables that restrict access to the insert
slot.
3. Locate the legend insert slot.
4. Remove any tape that holds the legend insert tab.
5. Pull on tab and remove old insert.
6. Slide the new insert into the slot (as far as it will go) so that the printed side
will face the front of the terminal.

PanelView 600/1000 is Similar
7. Check the front of the terminal to verify that the inserts properly
identify the function keys.
8. A new strip of tape may be required to secure the legend insert tabs to the
terminal side.
