THERMEX HARWICH
USE OF THE HOOD
This hood has::
• LED lights
• Boost function
• After-running
• Periodic room ventilation
• Filter cleaning indicator
CONTROL PANEL

EXTRACTION
The motor is switched on by activating the on/off hood icon or the icon increase speed. The motor always starts at level 1. The speed is increased by
activating the increase speed icon, and lowered by activating the on/off hood icon with a brief touch. The hood has three speed settings and a boost
function. The selected speed is shown in the display.
The motor is turned off by activating the on/off hood icon with a brief touch until '0' is shown on the display or by activating and holding down the on/
off hood icon. This can be done regardless of which speed the motor is running at.
BOOST FUNCTION
The hood has a boost function, which is activated by activating the icon increase speed with a brief touch until the number 4 starts to flash on the
display. The hood will run on boost for approx. 6 minutes, after which it will drop down to speed 3 automatically.
The boost function can be interrupted within the six minutes expiration by lowering the speed of the motor or by switching off the hood.
LIGHT
The light in the hood is switched on and off by activating the on/off light icon. The light can be turned on independently of whether the motor is acti-
vated.
AFTER-RUNNING
If after-running is activated, the motor will run for 15 minutes at the selected speed. Activate the after-running icon to activate the function. This can
be done regardless of which speed the motor is running at. The speed can be controlled when after-running has been enabled. The selected speed will
flash on the display to indicate that after-running has been activated.
NOTE: After-running cannot be activated if the hood's boost function is activated.
After-running can be interrupted within the 15 minutes expiration by activating the after-running icon or by switching off the hood.
PERIODIC ROOM VENTILATION
If periodic room ventilation has been activated, the hood will run at level 1 for 10 minutes every hour. The function is activated by holding down the
after-running button for approximately 5 seconds until the light in the LED display starts to move around. The hood will now run for 10 minutes, after
which extraction is turned off and the light in the display will stop moving around. A 'C' will be shown on the display to indicate that the function is
activated.
