Operating Instructions Digital Hanging Scale
Switching on:
Hold the digital hanging scale vertically - without any weight load. Press "ON/OFF",
a short acoustic signal is audible and the display shows "8888".
The hanging scale is ready for use after waiting for 2-3 seconds and "0.0" or "0.00"
is shown in the display.
Tare function:
To determine the weight of individual parts, attach a suitable device (e.g. basket,
carrier bag or similar) to the hook. After the weight of the device has been
determined, press "TARE", "0.00" or "0.000" appears on the display.
The hanging scale is now ready for use. The display will now only show the weight
of the individual parts to be weighed.
Weighing function:
The digital hanging scale has a capacity of 40 kg with an accuracy of +-20 g.
After the hanging scale has been made ready for use, attach the object to be
weighed to the hook. If the hanging scale is overloaded, i.e. above 40 kg, the
display shows "EEEE" and an acoustic signal is audible.
After the weighing process has been completed – confirmed by an acoustic
signal – the result is automatically stored.
To change to the weighing function once again, press "TARE"
Choice of the unit of measurement:
You can choose between lb, oz, kg (1 kg = 2.2 lb = 35 oz).
For this purpose press "UNIT" until the requested unit of measurement is show
in the display. The conversion is carried out automatically.
Switching off:
Press "ON/OFF" to switch off the digital hanging scale.
The hanging scale is switched off automatically if no further action is carried
out within 120 seconds.
Display lighting:
The display lighting switches off automatically after 5 seconds if no further
action (measuring process or push of a button) takes place.
The display lighting switches on again automatically when carrying out any
further actions.
Notes:
Please hold the digital hanging scale vertically when switching on.
To ensure the accuracy of the measurement and to protect the digital hanging
scale, hold it only on the ring provided for this and not on the plastic housing
during the measuring process.
Avoid intensive shaking or jerky movements during the measuring process.
Please only use a cloth moistened with water to clean the digital hanging scale.
The display indication "
To prevent any malfunctions and damage, the batteries should be changed as
promptly as possible.
