PRODUCT SETUP

REPEATER MODE

Step 1
connect the supplied power adapter
to the router and a power outlet, then
verify that the power led is on.
In Repeater mode
Internet Router
Modem
Step 2
Open a web browser and type
'http://192.168.0.1' . Go to
Wireless>Wireless Repeater page
and enable Repeater mode. click
the site survey button and select
the Wi-Fi network(ssId) you would
like the dIR-610 to connect to
wirelessly.
Step 3
enter the Wi-Fi password(pre-shared
key) and click next. click the Finish
button to save the configuration.
Note: You may need to change the
Ip address of dIR-610 to avoid Ip
address conflicts with root router.
(ex. If root router's Ip address is
192.168.0.1, you can modify Ip
address of dIR-610 to 192.168.0.2)
Step 4
From your laptop or mobile device
go to your wireless utility to display
the available wireless networks and
select the network that you previously
connected to in step 3 for internet
access.
