Switching the appliance on
• Connect the power plug 2 (Fig. A) to the mains socket in accordance with the
safety warnings described previously.
• Set the switch 3 (fig. A.1) to ON. The LED 4 (fig. A.1) will light up.
Temperature selection
• Turn the knob 5 (fig. A.1) to set the desired temperature.
• The appliance will take a few minutes to reach the selected temperature.
This professional appliance becomes very hot. We recommend
that utmost attention be paid to the condition of the hair
that is to be treated, especially in the case of bleached and
deconstructed hair. We recommend a maximum of 3 seconds of
application and to always test a hidden lock in advance.
Hair styling
• Proceed according to the instructions in paragraph "Hairstyling recommendations".
Switching the appliance off
• Set the switch 3 (fig. A.1) to OFF. The LED 4 (fig. A.1) will go off.
• Unplug the appliance and leave it to cool in a safe place before storing it away.
• Once cool, it is recommended to close/lock the appliance by moving the heating
elements 8 (fig. A) and switch 1 (fig. A.1) to a LOCK position.
STYLING TIPS
ATTENTION!
If you have been using the appliance for a few minutes and you
wish to select a lower temperature, the appliance will take about
one minute to cool down and reach the new temperature set.
• Wash your hair as usual, dry and brush it to untangle any knots.
•
After drying, do not use hairspray, mousse or gel.
• Start styling from the nape of the neck and then move on to the sides and lastly
to the front.
Use of the "WIDE WAVE" or "TIGHT WAVE" function
• Hold a thin lock of hair between your fingers.
• Place a lock of hair between the heating elements 8 (fig. A) and close them. Leave
it in for a few seconds.
• Starting from the root of your hair, gradually slide the weaving iron down to obtain
regular waves.
Use of the "DOUBLE IRON" function
• Close/lock the appliance by moving the heating elements 8 (fig. A) and switch 1
(fig. A.1) to a LOCK position.
• Hold a thin lock of hair between your fingers.
• Wrap a lock of hair around the two heating elements 8 (fig. A).
• Leave it in for a few seconds.
• The extract the iron and release the lock of hair.
• Continue until the hairstyle is complete.
• Switch the hair straightener off after each use.
As you proceed with styling, be careful not to move the appliance
too close to the face, ears, neck and skin, which to prevent possible
burns due to the high temperature of the heating elements.
Steam may be produced during use; this is normal due to the
excess moisture in the hair which evaporates.
MAINTENANCE
In case of malfunction or damage to the appliance or a part of it,
the appliance must be analysed by the manufacturer or the relevant
technical assistance or in any case by a person with similar skills in
order to prevent any risk. The user must not disassemble the device
him/herself.
After each use clean the appliance.
GENERAL CLEANING
• Always disconnect the power cord from the mains socket and make sure the
heating elements are completely cool before cleaning.
• Avoid all risk of electric shock by not cleaning the appliance with water and
do not immerse it in water.
