The leak test unit meets the requirements for leak testing according to EN 1949 "Specification for the Installa-
tion of LPG Systems for Habitation Purposes in Leisure Accommodation Vehicles and in other Road Vehicles".
Requirements according to EN 1949
The LPG system must meet the following requirements as to imperviousness when filled with air at a pressure
of 150 mbar: With a test volume of at least 700 cm
an additional test volume of 600 cm
Test
The pipeline of the LPG system is tested at a pressure of 150 mbar from the connection to the pressure regula-
tor up to the closed locking devices of the units. After a period of 5 minutes for reaching the thermal balance,
the pressure is measured for another 5 minutes. For this purpose, set the hand of the manometer to the test
pressure.
Remarks
•
Those parts of the LPG system provided for operation at a pressure above the working pressure of the
unit - if applicable - are tested with a suitable leak inspection device at their working pressure.

The fitter of the liquid gas installation should issue a certificate of accordance with EN 1949 for each inhab-
itable recreational vehicle or other road vehicle.

AANWIJZINGEN
De dichtheidstester voldoet aan de eisen van EN 1949: „Bepalingen voor het installeren van installaties voor
vloeibaar gas in bewoonbare vrije-tijdsvoertuigen en in andere wegvoertuigen met het doel daarin te kunnen
wonen".
Eisen volgens EN 1949
De installatie voor vloeibaar gas moet – wanneer zij met een druk van 150 mbar lucht wordt getest – aan de
volgende dichtheidseisen voldoen. Bij een testvolume van minstens 700 cm³ mag de drukvermindering
maximaal 10 mbar bedragen. Indein nodig moet een extra testvolume van 600 cm³ worden gebruikt.
Test
De pijpleiding van de installatie voor vloeibaar gas wordt vanaf de aansluiting aan de drukregelaar tot aan de
gesloten afsluiters van de apparaten met een druk van 150 mbar getest. Na een periode van 5 minuten voor de
instelling van de thermische evenwichtstoestand wordt de druk gedurende de daaropvolgende 5 minuten
gemeten. Daartoe wordt de wijzer van de manometer op de testdruk ingesteld.
