ASSEMBLING THE SUPPORT LEGS
Turn the saw table upside down. Attach the four support legs
(Pic. 2.1) at each corner of the up-turned saw table using the
nuts and bolts supplied. Attach the two long leg braces (Pic. 2.2)
and the two short leg braces (Pic. 2.3 ) to the support legs and
secure with the nuts and bolts supplied. Fit the rubber feet to
each of the four legs (Pic. 2.4). Check the security of all nuts
and bolts and tighten if required.
FITTING THE WHEEL ASSEMBLY
This machine is supplied with a wheel assembly that allows
easy movement of the machine in the work shop. Attach the
wheel assembly to the two rear support legs by securing the two
brackets (Pic. 3.1) with the nuts and bolts supplied.
FITTING THE LIFTING HANDLES
Two hinged lifting handles are provided to allow easy lifting when
moving the machine to another location. The two handles are
attached to the two front legs (Pic. 4.1) attach the two handles
(Pic. 4.2) with the four nuts and bolts supplied.
FITTING THE ON/OFF SWITCH
Mount the ON/OFF switch on the leg with the pre-arranged slot
(Pic. 5.1). Ensure that the switch is mounted with the green
ON button at the top (Pic. 5.2). Secure with the nuts and bolts
supplied.
This machine is fitted with a «No Volts Switch». In the event of
a mains power failure or if the mains plug is removed from the
mains supply socket before the machine is switched off. The
machine will not re-start without warning when the mains supply
is restored or the mains plug is re-connected to the mains
supply, until the machine is switched ON at the ON/OFF switch
fitted to the machine.
FITTING THE DUST EXTRACTION OUTLET
Secure the dust extraction adaptor (Pic. 6.1) to the outlet on the
motor/blade housing with the hexagonal headed bolts supplied.
Attach the small pipe to the side inlet (Pic. 6.2).
Do not attempt to attach the other end of the pipe yet.
CAUTION: This machine requires two person handling.
The machine can now be turned the right way up. Note the
wheels will only touch the ground when the front of the machine
is raised using the two hinged lifting handles.
FITTING THE FRONT (short)/SIDE (Long) RIP FENCE
GUIDE CHANNEL
Position the rip fence, guide channel and secure in place by the
two leg outer securing bolts (Pic. 7.1).
FITTING THE COMBINED RIP FENCE & MITRE
GUIDE BRACKET
Carefully offer the combined rip fence & mitre guide bracket into
the guide channel (Pic. 8.1). Locate the two bolts. Slide the two
bolts into the «T» slot (Pic.8.2) in the rip fence.
Warning!
Before carrying out any maintenance or adjustments the
machine must be disconnected from the mains power
supply.
FITTING THE BLADE GUARD
The blade guard is complete with a dust extraction outlet and
must be fitted to the machine at all times. Secure the blade
guard using the bolt supplied (Pic. 9.1). Check the operation of
the blade guard ensuring that it operates freely.
