Use caution when using in windy conditions. Winds may carry
mists into electrical wiring or devices.

cap/pump assembly.
This product is NOT dishwasher safe.

OPERATION
FILLING THE MISTING BOTTLE
See Figures 1 - 2.
Unscrew the cap/pump assembly by turning counterclockwise.
NOTE: Never remove the cap/pump assembly when the misting
bottle is pressurized. Follow instructions for depressurization later
in the manual.
Before first use or when refilling water, thoroughly clean the inside
of the water bottle, cap/pump assembly, and intake tube.
Fill empty water bottle to the max fill line.
WARNING:
Do not use this product to spray pesticides, liquid fertilizers, or
any other chemicals. Spraying these substances could result in
serious injury to the operator or bystanders.
Replace the cap/pump assembly and tighten securely.
OPERATING THE MISTING BOTTLE
See Figures 3 - 5.
WARNING:
Ensure brass nozzle is securely attached to cap/pump assembly
before each use. Do not overtighten, which may damage threads.
A loose brass nozzle could be ejected, resulting in an eye injury
or other serious personal injury.
Push the lock lever down (toward the brass nozzle) to prevent
the unit from misting and releasing pressure.
While holding the water bottle with one hand, grab the pump
handle with the other.
Slowly slide the pump handle up and down to pressurize the
misting bottle. To avoid over pressurization, do not pump more
than 12–15 times.
NOTE: The misting bottle does not have to be fully pressurized
for misting to occur. If you over pressurize the bottle, the pres-
sure relief valve will automatically release the excess pressure.
Keep misting bottle brass nozzle at least six inches away from
your face.
Pull the lock lever up (away from the brass nozzle) to allow the
unit to mist and release pressure.
WARNING:
Keep water and mist discharge pointed away from all electrical
devices to reduce the risk of electrocution or electric shock.
Misting will continue until the lock lever is pushed down (toward
the brass nozzle) or until the pressure in the misting bottle is
relieved.
To depressurize the misting bottle:
Release pressure and empty water from the misting bottle after
each use.
Hold the misting bottle upside down with the brass nozzle pointed
away from you.
Pull the lock lever up (away from the brass nozzle) to allow the
unit to mist and release pressure.
The unit should mist for 5–10 seconds. After the unit stops misting
and you can no longer hear pressure escaping the unit, return
the misting bottle to an upright position.
Remove the cap/pump assembly and empty any remaining water.
CALIFORNIA PROPOSITION 65
WARNING:
This product and substances that may become airborne
from its use may contain chemicals, including lead, known
to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects,

MAINTENANCE
NOZZLE MAINTENANCE
See Figure 6.
Irregular mist patterns or leakage may be the result of a clogged or
dirty nozzle. To clean nozzles:
Hold the misting bottle upside down with the brass nozzle pointed
away from you.
Depressurize the misting bottle and rotate the brass nozzle
counter clockwise to remove it from the cap/pump assembly.
Soak nozzle in warm soapy water or Arctic Cove nozzle cleaner
(MACC008), not included, to loosen foreign materials clogging or
restricting the nozzle. A five-pack replacement nozzle (MAC080)
is available at Home Depot or online.
Flush debris out of nozzle by back flushing (running the water
through the nozzle backwards or from the outside to the inside).
Reconnect the nozzle to the cap/pump assembly.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are
susceptible to damage from various types of commercial solvents
and may be damaged by their use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt,
dust, oil, grease, etc.
WARNING:
Always clean and thoroughly dry out all parts of the misting
bottle, cap/pump assembly, and intake tube when not in use
to prevent the possible formation of bacteria or mold. Spraying
mist that contains bacterial or mold can result in serious personal
injury or illness.
