Initial use
•
Clean the appliance.

Apply a few drops of oil to the teeth of the
clipping head. Switch the appliance on and
off again to distribute the oil. Remove
excessive oil from the clipping head with
a cloth.
Assembly
Warning! Before assembly, always switch off
the appliance.
Mounting and removing the
clipping head (fig. B1 & B2)

To mount the clipping head (4), insert the
clipping head into the appliance as shown
and press the clipping head until it locks
into place (fig. B1).
•
To remove the clipping head (4), press the
clipping head as shown and push the
clipping head forward (fig. B2).
Mounting and removing the comb
attachments (fig. C)
The appliance is supplied with two comb
attachments. Comb attachment (9) is used for
cutting hair. Comb attachment (10) is used for
thinning hair, beards and sideboards.
•
To mount the comb attachment, slide the
comb attachment over the clipping head (4)
into the slots (13).
•
To remove the comb attachment, slide the
comb attachment away from the clipping
head (4).
Use
Charging the appliance (fig. D)
Before first use, the appliance must be fully
charged for approximately 10 hours. If the
appliance starts to operate less smoothly,
the appliance must be fully charged for
approximately 8 hours.
