FLOOR CLEANING
1. Plug in vacuum. Place foot gently on the floor nozzle
and tilt the handle back. (See Figure 4)

2. Choose setting. Slide power switch to appropriate
setting and start cleaning. (See Figure 5)

BRUSHROLL ON/OFF
1. Press the power switch at the top of the canister to
the I position to vacuum bare floors (straight suction
only) or use Lift-Away
carpets and rugs, set the switch to the II position to
engage motorized brushroll.
2. Press the floor nozzle down with foot and tilt the
handle back toward user to engage the brushroll.

nozzle. (See Figure 6)

a. To clean above-floor areas with the handle,
detach it from the wand by pressing the handle
button. (See Figure 6)
b. To clean with a longer reach, detach wand from
the floor nozzle by pressing the wand release
button. (See Figure 6)
2. Attach desired cleaning accessory to the handle or
wand. (See Figure 7)
