no breakage or damage occurred during
shipping.
■ Do not discard the packing material until
you have carefully inspected and satisfactorily
operated the product.
■ If any parts are damaged or missing, do not
operate the product. Return it for replacement
to the retailer from which it was purchased.

ASSEMBLY
BATTERY
IMPORTANT! The battery pack is not
charged when the pole saw is purchased.
Before using the pole saw, read all safety
precautions and follow the instructions in
the Battery Pack And Charger section. With
regular use, the battery pack will need shorter
charging time. When storing the pole saw,
remove the battery pack. When ready to use
pole saw again, charge the battery pack for
at least 70 minutes.

AUXILIARY HANDLE ASSEMBLY

WARNING!
without the auxiliary handle properly fitted!
■ Loosen the locking knob from the auxiliary
handle.
■ Align the auxiliary handle with the lower
pole. (Fig. 2)
■ Adjust the auxiliary handle to the most
comfortable position.
■ Insert the bolt in the hole on the auxiliary
handle, tighten the locking knob and clamp
the lever down to secure it. (Fig. 3)
