9. Attaching the trailer to the bicycle
Pull the trailer hitch out of the drawbar and place the drawbar on the rear axle
of the bicycle. For axles with a quick release, remove the entire wheel axle,
slide the coupling onto the nut bolt and screw the rear axle back on.
For axles with a hexagon bolt, unscrew the nut with the washer. Slide the
trailer hitch onto the axle and screw the nut with the washer back on.
Put the hitch on the drawbar and secure it with a locking pin. Once the
drawbar is attached, pull the seat belt through the rear part.
Important: The coupling between the bicycle and the trailer is the most
important part of the assembly. Ensure that the trailer is securely coupled
to the bicycle.
If the trailer interferes with your bicycle or other bicycle attachments, or if it is
not firmly connected, do not use the trailer. Contact your specialist dealer for
help with correct installation.
