How to Use Griddle/Base

Always use griddle/base on a dry,
level, heat-resistant surface.

Heat may be increased or
decreased, depending upon
personal preference and the
type or amount of food being
prepared.

Set temperature control to OFF .

When finished cooking, remove
food, turn temperature control to
OFF , and unplug unit.
IMPORTANT: Never use the cover on the griddle/base.
The cover is to be used only with the removable skillet.

Plug into outlet. Refer to the
Griddle Cooking Chart for
selecting the correct heat setting.

Preheat griddle/base, uncovered,
for 4 to 8 minutes until desired
temperature is reached. Never
use the cover on the griddle/
base. When the indicator light
goes out, the cooking tempera-
ture has been reached.
