    PSA300 Hardware Guide System Overview Introduction The PSA300 is a compact, mini-ITX desktop embedded system. Front view panel: Reset Power switch Rear view panel: Power connector Console Internal port (INT) External port (EXT) The front of the device includes a power on/off push-button, including an LED status light, and a reset button.

    Connect it to the PSA300 and a power source: Press the power button on the front: Connect the Console The PSA300 has a console port with an RJ-45 connector. Use it to connect to a console laptop and configure the system. © 2015 Pulse Secure, LLC.

    Web console. During this basic setup process, you define the “personality” of the PSA300. For example, you can set up the PSA300 to act as a Pulse Connect Secure or Pulse Policy Secure device. You can switch personalities at any time by reconfiguring the PSA300.

    Enter random text (used for auth certificate) After you perform the basic setup, you are ready to license the software, verify accessibility, and complete the configuration process through the PSA300 administrator Web console. Change the Personality You can change your system's personality at any time.

    License the System After you install the device and perform basic setup, you are ready to license it. To license your device, follow instructions received in an email from Pulse Secure. For more information, see https://www.pulsesecure.net/support. The device uses the common machine and organization names to create a self-signed digital certificate for use during product evaluation and initial setup.
