UHF Pocket Transmitter
These instructions are intended for users without
any specific technical knowledge Please read the
instructions carefully prior to operation and keep
them for later reference
The operating elements and connections de-
scribed can be found on page 2
1 Overview
1 Button POWER / MUTE
– to switch on the unit: briefly press the button
– to mute /unmute the unit:
briefly press the button
– to switch off the unit:
keep the button pressed for 2 seconds
LED indicator of the button
Green Batteries sufficiently charged
flashing in green: transmitter muted
Red Batteries almost discharged
alternately flashing in red and green: batteries
almost discharged; transmitter muted
Blue Receiver and transmitter successfully synchroni-
zed via ultrasound
flashing in blue: reception error during ultrasonic
transmission

3 Applications
This pocket transmitter operates in the UHF range
506 – 542 MHz It is designed for operation with the
following receivers from JTS:
– RU-8011D / 5 (1-channel receiver)
– RU-8011DB / 5 (1-channel receiver)
– RU-8012DB / 5 (2-channel receiver)
The pocket transmitter is supplied with the lavalier
microphone CM-501 Instead of the lavalier micro-
phone, a different microphone from the JTS product
range with a 4-pole mini XLR connection (e g a
headband microphone) may be used
The settings for the transmitter are made on
the receiver and are then, by means of the func-
tion
, transferred to the transmitter via
ultrasound
