Using the iHiFi Receiver
1 1 1 1
Choose the audio system you want to use. The audio system
must be a stereo, powered speakers, or other audio system that has
a 3.5 mm (1/8 inch) stereo jack input or RCA phono jack inputs.
There must be a place to plug in the Receiver's power cube.
2 2 2 2
Turn off the audio system.
3 3 3 3
Plug the red and white connectors of the iHiFi Receiver cable
into unused input jacks of your audio system. You can use the
two jacks for an AUX, CD, DVD, or TAPE input source, for instance;
but you should not use PHONO inputs. Notice which input source
you use, since you'll need to select that source on your audio system
when you want to use iHiFi.
4 4 4 4
Plug the other end of the Receiver cable into the appropriate
iHiFi Receiver jack.
5 5 5 5
Plug one end of the Receiver's power cube into the Receiver's
power jack, and then plug the power cube into an AC outlet. We
recommend an AC outlet that stays on even when your audio system
is off.
6 6 6 6
Make sure the iHiFi Receiver power switch is ON.
7 7 7 7
This is normally a good time to power up your iHiFi Transmitter
(or other device that sends sound to your receiver, such as a Zoom
Bluetooth A2DP Adapter with PIN code 0000 or 1234). Pairing
between the two Bluetooth devices should occur. When pairing is in
process, the Receiver's red and blue LEDs alternate. Once the two
devices are connected, only the blue LED will blink.
