Cleaning (Fig. IV)
Clean the components regularly using the
■
cleaning brushes supplied:
• Front sleeve [10] inside using the medium
round brush (Ø 26 mm)
• Piston [9] using the wire brush
• Piston sleeve [8] inside and outside using the
medium round brush (Ø 26 mm) and/or the
wire brush
• Cartridge strip opening inside using the small
round brush (Ø 16 mm)
• Tool inside using the large round brush
(Ø 32 mm)
• Lightly oil the components using the service
spray.
Note
Excess oil can increase the binding of
dust and dirt and thus increase wear.
After cleaning, remove excess oil with
a clean, lint-free cloth.
Assembly (Fig. III)
Risk of crushing
 Incorrect handling can lead to
crushing.
¾ Wear safety gloves.
Assemble the tool in the reverse sequence; in

doing so, observe the following:

Note the position of the piston ring
(see Fig. III / [18]).
• Precisely insert the piston fully into the piston
sleeve.
• The piston guide in the front sleeve must move
freely in the front sleeve.
• Align the grooves of front sleeve and piston
sleeve with each other.
• The clip must fit completely on the front sleeve.
The common groove of the piston, piston sleeve
■
piston guide and front sleeve assembly must
point in the firing direction of the tool.
CAUTION!
Note
After assembly of all individual parts,
a function check of the tool must be
performed before starting work.
Storage and transport
WARNING!
Risk of severe injuries.
¾ Store the tool without cartridge
strips and fasteners.
Store the tool and cartridge strip in the original tool
carrying case in a safe, dry location that is pro-
tected against heat.
Unauthorised persons, especially children, must not
have any access to the tool or the cartridge strip.
The tool and its loading equipment must only be
transported in the original carrying case.
Accessories and spare parts
If in spite of careful manufacturing and testing pro-
cesses, the tool becomes faulty, a repair by Würth
masterService should be arranged.
